Japanese Garden and Bampaku Park

Bampaku Park is set in the extreme north end of Osaka. Once the setting for the Osaka World Expo, those buildings have now been removed and it has been converted into a very large public park. In it are found the Osaka Museum of Fine Arts, The museum of Ethnology (Minpaku), a Japanese Folk Arts Musem and the very large Japanese Garden

The Japanese Garden

Nishikigoi: There are many beautifully colored koi or carp, in the pools of the Japanese Garden here. The are called Nishikigoi, or brocade carp in Japanese.
