intensive introduction to the conceptual foundations and basic research
results in the cognitive sciences for first-year graduate students.
Prerequisite: graduate standing or consent of instructor. 

202C.  Proseminar in Vision and Audition.

Section on Vision:
  Visual perception and the anatomy and physiology of the visual system.
Topics include: physics of light and of photometric measurement; structure
and function of the retina and the visual pathways; visual sensitivity;
color vision; spatial vision; depth perception; motion perception; and the
development of the visual system.
